Foodie Frocks

Some women love to be in the kitchen, while others don't feel like they belong.
But with Thanksgiving being the hungriest holiday of all, there is always a little cooking to be done.
Whether you're heating up a prepared brie cheese or trimming and stuffing your very own bird, you can look fabulous while you do it.

Anthropologie's endless options of flirty aprons will at least make you feel like you know what you are doing.

Or if you are having Thanksgiving catered this year, don't be ashamed of throwing this on to spruce up your outfit or just make you feel like you have been slaving in the kitchen all day ;)

Christmas Cheer

Every year I notice that Christmas is starting earlier and earlier?
Or is time just flying by much faster than before?
Either way... it is not yet Thanksgiving,
but it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
All the shop windows in North Hills are decked out
we even have a few festive ladies in the store to help spread the cheer.

For this month's Third Thursday, November 18th, North Hills is hosting a Sip and Stroll. Sip warm drinks while you stroll the streets and take in all the holiday decorations.
There will also be a silent auction and donation locations to support the Camp Firefly Organization that provides terminally-ill children and their families to have fun at an all expense paid summer camp.

Ideas Fur Winter

I do love the sequined looks that have been lining our racks and sprucing up the dark grays and blacks of winter-wear.
But lately, I have been drooling over fur and feathers...

Fur hats, fur jackets, fur vests, fur boots and fur skirts
yesss please!
I love the warm neutrals and texture, of course.
I even am thinking the sequin feather combo could make for a fun, festive look.

A Festive Time of Year

A week ago my mom emailed me asking for addresses to send Christmas Party invites. With a slight eye roll, I ignored.
Yesterday she called, "it is November and the ball is going to start rolling"
YIKES she is right!
Before we know it, it will be Thanksgiving and our Christmas Party invitations will be cluttering the fridge.
So take a gander at the first installment of Fleur's Festive Frocks
