The Dark Side

Last night I crossed over. Completely appropriate since today is September 1st, the dark nail polish is back.

Thanks so much to the nice little nail spa in North Hills for having something dark and to my liking since I didn't like my own color I brought with me to use (eek! because I'm afraid of germs) but it was a new bottle...LUCKY! Its pretty much black...reminded me of this color I'm trying to get my hands on but can not find anywhere online anymore...

I have such a weakness for Chanel polishes, such a little treat!

Is it really sick I went home and re-organized my nail polishes last night and put away the summer ones and took out the fall?????

Happy Friday! I've had 3 cups of coffee, been up since 6, and failed to listen to my GPS; resulting in a giant loop around the beltline.Lets say I am definitely ready for the weekend. I NEED it, as I am sure many of you do as well!

 My Saturdays are usually random, lazy, and I always find myself doing some sort of errand which leads to some sort of shopping. Sip and Stroll

it might be a good night to commence your gift shopping!

And if you are not in the "getting" mood but would prefer "giving" we will have a donation station set up for any contribution to support the Camp Firefly Foundation.

Christmas Cheer

Every year I notice that Christmas is starting earlier and earlier?

Or is time just flying by much faster than before?

Either way... it is not yet Thanksgiving, 

but it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

All the shop windows in North Hills are decked out 

we even have a few festive ladies in the store to help spread the cheer. 

For this month's Third Thursday, November 18th, North Hills is hosting a Sip and Stroll. Sip warm drinks while you stroll the streets and take in all the holiday decorations. 

There will also be a silent auction and donation locations to support the Camp Firefly Organization that provides terminally-ill children and their families to have fun at an all expense paid summer camp.

Nomad Chic and Fashion Week

It is Fashion Week everywhere right now even in North Hills Raleigh, North Carolina. There have been fashionable events peppering the last few days and Fleur is participating in two more before the week comes to a close. 

Tomorrow, at a private Fall Fashion Luncheon, we will be showcasing our top, ready-to-wear, Fall Fashion Trends. Animal Prints, Sequin Numbers and Layered Looks are lining our racks in anticipation of the fast approaching fall weather. 

On the evening of Thursday, September 16th from 5:30 to 7:30 we will be celebrating "Ladies Night Out" and the end of Fashion Week with North Hills. At this event we will be unveiling our fall sweater arrivals and will be demonstrating the multitude of ways to wrap yourself up in the Nomad-Chic trend.

This event is open to ALL and we will be paired up with the famous Mura restaurant to provide our guests with fresh appetizers and glasses of champagne.  

I hope you can all make it out to enjoy a treat!

rejuvenated and revamped

hello fans and fellow bloggers

it has been sometime since we have updated you on the happenings at Fleur and filled you in on the life and style of the fabulous people that help make Fleur what it is.

somewhere between new babies and beach trips and hot humid days we were able to revamp and rejuvenate Fleur Boutique. we left our old stomping grounds at Cameron Village and have moved on up to the Shops at North Hills. we are in a whole new place and we are loving the buzz and new vibe in NH. our new space is fresh, clean and cool with new fall looks arriving every week.

with all the change in the air i decided to give our blog a little facelift as well... so please let me know what you think.

even though it is 90+ degrees outside, we do have some fabulously fresh fall looks in store from snazzy Jules Reid prints to traditional Lauren Moffatt pea-coats. just today we received shipments from Alice and Olivia, By Malene Birger and Leona and there is much much more on the way.
